Yggdrasil released Hidden Egypt DoubleMax on 30 April 2024

Yggdrasil lists 30 April 2024 as the release date of Hidden Egypt DoubleMax, a five-reel video slot developed by Hot Rise Games. The game combines an Egyptian setting with steampunk imagery and uses Yggdrasil’s DoubleMax feature.

The launch was announced on 30 April in a company statement carried by iGaming Business. Yggdrasil said the title was a YGG Masters release developed through Hot Rise Games’ agreement with ReelPlay and built using GATI, Yggdrasil’s development toolkit.

Yggdrasil’s product page lists a maximum multiplier of 20,000 times stake. It also describes wild coins that visually stack as the multiplier increases, respins and a free-spins feature in which wilds persist for longer.

Those specifications are published game features, not evidence of typical player outcomes or commercial performance.

In the launch announcement, Yggdrasil senior product and programme manager Zoe Bird described the title as an addition to the supplier’s DoubleMax portfolio. ReelPlay chief executive David Johnson said the release combined Yggdrasil’s mechanic with Hot Rise Games’ design work.
