Inspired announced Gold Fishy Free Spins in November 2023

Inspired Entertainment announced Gold Fishy Free Spins on 6 November 2023 as part of an online and mobile lineup that also included Big Spin Bonus Extra Spins and Wild Party Jokers.

Inspired described Gold Fishy Free Spins as a fish-themed version of Gold Cash Free Spins. According to the company, the game includes eight bonus spins triggered by three bonus scatters and uses four high-paying symbols.

Inspired also said the title includes Fortune Bet, a feature that requires a premium of half the base bet to initiate a bonus-symbol respin.

At the time, Claire Osborne, then vice president of interactive, presented the three releases as part of Inspired’s winter lineup and the supplier’s effort to vary themes and mechanics. Any expectations for player interest were company commentary, and the announcement did not provide adoption figures.

Inspired’s current product page lists Gold Fishy Free Spins as a five-reel, four-row game with 40 win lines for online and mobile play.

DraftKings Network later listed Gold Fishy Freespins in a June 2024 release roundup for DraftKings Casino in Michigan, Ontario and New Jersey.
