Hacksaw flags slower Q3 growth in preliminary 2026 update

Hacksaw said Q3 2026 revenue and adjusted EBIT will still rise year on year, but growth slowed as softer market conditions and weaker game performance reduced momentum ahead of its 3 November report.

On 12 October 2026, Hacksaw AB published a preliminary financial and operational update for the quarter ended 30 September, saying Q3 revenue and adjusted EBIT are both expected to rise from a year earlier, while growth came in below the company’s recent pace. [1]

Hacksaw said total revenue for Q3 2026 is expected to be about EUR 57.5m to EUR 58.5m, compared with EUR 52.0m in Q3 2025. On the company’s figures, that implies year-on-year growth of roughly 11% to 12%. [1]

The company also said adjusted operating profit is expected to be about EUR 48m to EUR 49m, versus EUR 42.1m a year earlier. It said adjusted EBIT margin should be around 83%, up from 81% in Q3 2025. [1]

Hacksaw attributed the slower growth rate to softer market conditions and lower game performance than in its recently reported periods. In the same update, it said its long-term financial targets are unchanged. [1]

That leaves the main change in this announcement centred on the pace of expansion rather than on any decline in the company’s reported revenue or adjusted EBIT versus the comparable quarter last year. Based on the preliminary ranges, Hacksaw is still guiding to higher revenue, higher adjusted EBIT and a stronger adjusted margin than in Q3 2025. [1]

The figures remain preliminary rather than final reported results, and the company did not provide a market-by-market or customer-level breakdown in the update. It also did not quantify how much of the slower growth came from softer market conditions as opposed to lower game performance. [1]

Hacksaw said it is continuing to expand through new and existing OpenRGS partnerships, is in dialogue with potential Hacksaw Venture partners and has started exploring new verticals, including a crash game launched late in the third quarter. The company did not tie those initiatives to any quantified Q3 contribution in this release. [1]

Fuller detail is due on 3 November 2026, when Hacksaw expects to publish its interim report for the period. [1]
