EveryMatrix appointed Matias Montero as managing director for Latin America on 13 January, giving the former Vibra Gaming executive responsibility for expanding its business and establishing a regional hub. The appointment placed a locally based commercial lead at the centre of the supplier’s plans for the continent. [1]

Montero is based in Buenos Aires and reports to group commercial director Daniel Clark. EveryMatrix said his experience spans two decades in gaming, including more than five years in chief operating officer and chief revenue officer roles at Vibra. His remit draws on sales, product development and marketing experience. [1]

At Vibra, Montero was part of the founding management team involved in developing proprietary games and a platform-solutions division for regional operators. Clark described local recruitment as the starting point for EveryMatrix’s market-building approach, with Montero expected to develop its turnkey platform business in the territories it is targeting. Regional growth within a broader management change

SBC News placed the appointment alongside a wider change in EveryMatrix’s senior leadership. Its January coverage noted that Jonas Groes had joined co-founder Ebbe Groes as co-chief executive, following a management announcement two months earlier. The regional hire therefore followed a change in responsibility at the top of the group. [2]

The same coverage identified Latin America as an increasingly important part of the company’s commercial outlook. It described EveryMatrix as London-founded and Malta-headquartered. It also noted EveryMatrix’s earlier membership of CIBELAE, the Ibero-American association of state lotteries and betting organisations. That relationship gives context to a regional strategy extending beyond a single operator agreement or product launch. [2]

EveryMatrix’s January announcement describes a modular software offer covering casino, sports betting, payments and affiliate management, with operators able to combine its products with third-party or in-house systems. The appointment concerns commercial expansion and local support for that existing offering. It does not announce a new platform product or provide a regional revenue target. [1]
