Entain reiterates FY26 guidance after Q3 online growth and a sharp Brazil decline

Entain said on 15 October that group net gaming revenue rose 2% year on year in the third quarter on a constant-currency basis, with online net gaming revenue up 3% for the period from 1 July to 30 September 2026. The company also reiterated its FY26 outlook, with underlying EBITDA, excluding parent fees, still expected at the lower end of its guided range.

In the UK and Ireland, Entain said online net gaming revenue increased 14% year on year in Q3. The company reported 17% gaming growth and 3% sports growth in the market, which it described as ahead of expectations.

Brazil moved in the opposite direction. Entain said net gaming revenue in the market fell 36% in the quarter and attributed the pressure to disciplined marketing and player engagement before the immediate online gambling ban announced on 25 September 2026.

Full-year outlook maintained

Entain said it still expects FY26 online net gaming revenue growth of 4% to 6% on a constant-currency basis. It also maintained guidance for underlying EBITDA, excluding parent fees, at the lower end of the £910 million to £960 million range.

That outlook is qualified by conditions in Brazil. Entain said its FY26 assumptions include the immediate online gambling ban in Brazil remaining in place for the rest of 2026.

The trading update states that the reported figures are on a constant-currency basis and cover continuing operations excluding Entain CEE unless otherwise stated. It is an unaudited trading statement rather than a full quarterly statutory results filing.
